If your "Thoughts and Prayers" are of grief and fear, "Thanks, I'm good.", but If they are thoughts of love and peace, bring 'em on.

"Sending thoughts and prayers" is a worthless platitude and means nothing if it stops at a tweet. If, however, you find yourself in a place of solitude and silence and have a desirous, loving vision of peace that you believe can happen, we're on our way.

When you can picture my child playing alongside yours, regardless of their race, religion, or gender, that is where it begins. And when you will envision a world where our children are living without a memory of war and hate, we're halfway there.

The moment you can see, in your mind's eye, the object of your scorn and derision and then send them feelings of love and compassion, we're so getting warmer. And the instant you can forgive the person of your hate and distrust, we are on fire.

Right now is the time. It's the only time when we can create our future. If we send thoughts of rage and blame today, we set the stage for war and anguish tomorrow. But if we will send thoughts of unconditional love and forgiveness now, we will stop the show.

Every morning we get smacked in the face with the agreement of strife and evil, and we share the same disbelief in peace and accord. It is then when we must endure and go out into our world with the intention of bringing peace along with us. Wherever we go, throughout our day, intend for peace by showing love and compassion. This is preemptive peace. Each and every one of us is a source of peace and it works every time. We cannot worry about those that won't. Their worries and fears are not realized when we lead with peace and acceptance. They will come around or find themselves in solitude and silence.

Here's a thought. Have a vision of peace, believe it can happen, then share it. That's a prayer. Press Send.

Peace and Joy,

Rafael
