I’m a writer and photographer now. The military sent me all over the world, from Cuba to Kyrgyzstan and dozens of countries in-between, but now I call Maine home.

My military service began in 1989, and I deployed five times in support Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. My training as a military logistician prepared me for deployments and duty in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and Japan.

In 2014, my W.W.II Veterans photography project earned me some statewide recognition for my portrait work and I was selected to photograph the 2016-18 Maine Veterans Home calendars. My black and white photos were proudly displayed in the Maine Statehouse in recognition of W.W.II veterans and their valiant service to our country. My fine art landscapes have sold at auction and in local shops along the coast of Maine.

I’m available for worldwide travel but I can usually be found riverside enjoying my time writing, reading and meditating. Jemma and I enjoy spending time with our four adult children.
